Nunchaku Sizing

Here is a guide to finding the correct size nunchaku to suit you.

* Please note that some different martial arts styles and systems use different rules for sizing. If in doubt please discuss with your instructor before ordering.

Length of handle:
The handle length should be as long as or just slightly longer than the distance from your elbow to your knuckles.

Length of cord (himo):
The cord length should be wide enough for the cord of the nunchaku to lay across your palm with the handles just hanging down either side.

Overall Length:
With the correct length handles and cord you should be able to hold the nunchaku by the end of one handle (two finger widths from the end) and have it hang down to almost touch the ground.
